Where can I find the code to receive my 20% off member discount?
Click here. Alternately, log in to your profile by navigating to www.americanalpineclub.org. Click on the “Discounts” button under “Benefits.” The code is listed along with the codes for other retailers.
I forgot to enter my member discount code. Can I receive the discount retroactively?
No problem—send an email to email@example.com with your order number and we will refund you the amount of the discount.
How long after I place my order for a magazine subscription will I receive my first issue?
We submit our list of new subscribers to our magazine partners at the beginning of each month. From the time that we send the list, it typically takes four to six weeks for you to receive your first issue, however Alpinist subscribers may not see their first issue for eight weeks or longer, as Alpinist is a quarterly publication.
I'm only asked for my billing address on checkout when I try to purchase a magazine subscription. Why can't I enter my shipping address?
Magazines will be sent to whatever you have set as your current address on your member profile. Please verify that we have the correct address in order to avoid delays in receiving your first issue. To do so, log in to your profile at www.americanalpineclub.org and click on the "Edit Profile" link in the top left corner.
Do you ship to international locations?
Yes. Please keep in mind that, depending on the destination, international shipping can take several weeks due to customs procedures.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Designated shipping times are approximations calculated by the United States Postal Service and not guaranteed delivery dates. While the estimated time is often accurate, please allow five to seven business days for items shipping within the United States and 20 business days for international orders.
Can I return my order?
Of course, though we hope you won’t need to! If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a prepaid return label. Simply print the label within 24 hours, tape it to the package, and put it in the mail. Once we have received the item, we will credit your card for the item. Please note that shipping is nonrefundable. Read our full return policy for more information.
